Wind: light South
Some patchy fog will be possible overnight into the early morning Sunday.
Beginning Sunday, very warm and humid weather is expected through our area and the Great Lakes region, which will linger through the week. During the period, heat index values could reach the low to mid 90s at times, and possibly higher.
There will be a slight chance of a shower or T-storm during the afternoon into the evening Sunday as the warmer and more humid air spreads northward through the area. Showers and T-storms will be likely Sunday night into the morning Monday north of Wausau, with a chance to the south, as a wave of low pressure approaches and moves through. Additional showers and storms could redevelop later in the day as well.
The chance of T-storms will remain in the forecast at times the rest of the week, especially Tuesday and Wednesday, and again Friday.
Have a spectacular Sunday! Meteorologist Mike Breunling
