Cool with showers Sunday, a bit warmer next week

Sunday: Mostly cloudy and cool with scattered showers or drizzle.

High: 62

Wind: East 6-15

Sunday night: Mostly cloudy, with some clearing late.

Low: 49

Wind: light E/NE

Cool weather will continue the rest of the weekend.

The approach of a low pressure system from the northern Plains will keep cloud cover overhead and lead to a chance of scattered showers overnight into the morning Sunday mainly along and south of the Highway 29 corridor.  The clouds and a chance of scattered showers or drizzle will continue throughout the area Sunday as the low passes through.

A somewhat warmer temperature pattern is expected next week. Showers and storms will be possible at times Wednesday through Saturday, with a chance of isolated showers Tuesday.

Have a spectacular Sunday!  Meteorologist Mike Breunling
