Friday: Mostly cloudy and breezy. 40% chance of showers and T-storms during the morning, then through the afternoon showers and T-storms likely north of Wausau, with a 30% chance south.

It was a cool day, with breezy northwest winds. Cloud cover increased some during the afternoon, but peeks of sunshine lingered. Morning lows mostly ranged from the upper 30s through the 40s, with afternoon highs in the 60s to around 70.
Unsettled and rather cool weather is expected through the weekend.
Scattered showers and T-storms will develop later tonight and continue Friday morning as a low pressure system develops over the Plains. During the afternoon the chance of showers and storms is expected mainly through the northern into central parts of the area as a cold front approaches from the northwest. Southwest winds will be quite breezy Friday.
The chance of showers and storms will continue Friday night and Saturday as the cold front moves southward through the state. A few showers will be possible Sunday as a weak low pressure system passes through.
The temperature pattern will turn slightly warmer next week. Showers and storms will be possible later Wednesday and Thursday.
