Nice Spring weather will be developing for the next couple of days. You will want to plan some outdoor time and activities because it will turn a lot cooler and potentially wet over the weekend.
For today we will start out with some clouds through the early morning. By mid-morning the clouds should clear and we should experience sun for the rest of the day. High temps should reach the upper 50s to low 60s with a north wind a little breezy at times, around 10 to 18 mph. Tomorrow will be a little breezy as well, however it will be a warmer southwest wind. With sunny to partly cloudy skies on Wednesday, high temps should reach the mid to upper 60s.
Thursday will be fairly mild as well, but not as nice as today and tomorrow. A cold front moving in from the northwest will bring a 50% chance of showers on Thursday morning. This front should move fast enough to allow the clouds to break up somewhat during the afternoon on Thursday and this will help boost temps into the mid 60s. Some cooler air will arrive on Friday, but it will still be fairly close to normal. With partly or mostly sunny skies high temps should be in the upper 50s to close out the work week.
Over the weekend temps will be even cooler. A low pressure system moving through Wisconsin on Saturday will bring a good chance of rain (70%) for much of the day. With high temperatures only in the 40s to around 50, the rain might even mix with snow at times. Sunday should be dry but temps will still be cool. Under partly or mostly cloudy skies, high temps will remain in the low to mid 50s.
Have a magnificent Tuesday! Meteorologist Justin Loew, 4:30 a.m. 23-April-2019
