Great weather will be developing for today then temperatures will gradually warm-up through the weekend. By early next week we could have some of the most warm and humid conditions of the year so far.
A bit of high pressure will be over Wisconsin today and that means near perfect Summer weather with plenty of sunshine. The humidity will be low and there will be a nice breeze out of the north-northwest at 10 to 15 mph. High temps should top out in the upper 70s.
The wind will shift to the southwest tomorrow and this will lead to warm and gradually more humid conditions. A weak cold front moving in from the north on Friday could spark a few thunderstorms, primarily in the afternoon and evening. With the warmer and more humid conditions, there might be an isolated strong storm or two. High temps should be in the 80 to 85 range.
Another nice day is expected for Saturday with a good amount of sun and highs in the low 80s, then it will turn more humid on Sunday with temps topping out in the mid 80s. In addition, a warm front settling into the upper Midwest could produce a few storms, especially Sunday evening and Sunday night. Right now the chance is about 30%.
Very warm and muggy conditions will then develop for Monday through Wednesday of next week. High temps will be in the upper 80s to around 90 each day under a mix of clouds and hazy sun. There is a slight chance of an isolated storm on Monday and then a 30% chance of storms for Tuesday.
Have a stupendous Thursday! Meteorologist Justin Loew, 4:30 a.m. 11-July-2019
