IOLA (WAOW) — The Iola Car Show and Swap Meet takes over the Waupaca County village for the next three days.

The show features 2,500 vehicles and more than 4,000 vendors.

This years theme is ‘Calling all Car Clubs,’ welcoming cars of all makes and memories. The theme is an ode to car clubs that continue to fuel the auto industry and bring community members together.

“We want to welcome home people back to Iola. For three days each year, this is the automotive community, and this is home for a lot of people. You go to the blue-ribbon area, and there [are] old friends that only meet three times a year,” said Carter Snyder, marketing director for the Iola Car Show.

Single tickets for the show are $15, and a $28 option for the full three days is also available.

Friday and Saturday night there will be free concerts with admission and a celebrity appearance from Catherine Bach, who starred as as Daisy Duke in the original ‘Dukes of Hazard’ television series .

Gates open each morning at 6 a.m.
