(WAOW) — One of the suspects in a Northwoods hospital attack has died, according to a news release.
Jillian Buza, 39, of Eagle River, passed from what appears to be natural causes, according to a news release from the Oneida County Sheriffs Department.
Buza was arrested after an incident at Marshfield Clinic on June 12 where she threatened to attack a physicians assistant her with a hatchet and meat tenderizer.
Buza had since been in the hospital for health related issues on several occasions.
The Oneida County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating Buza’s death.
Her husband, Joseph, has pleaded not guilty to the charges. His case is still active.
