Missing Sawyer Co. teen found safe in Marshfield

HAYWARD, Wis. (WAOW) — The Sawyer County Sheriff’s Department canceled an endangered missing person’s alert for 16-year-old Angel Simonson, of Hayward on Sunday. They said she was found safe in Marshfield.

Authorities said she was last seen on Sept. 16 at her grandmother’s house.  Police said her grandmother attempted to wake Simonson up the next morning and that’s when she noticed she was missing.

Chief Deputy Craig Faulstich of the Sawyer Co. Sheriff’s Department said in a press release Wood County Sheriff’s Office, the Marshfield Police Department and others helped in locating Simonson.

No other information is available at this time.
