Two men arrested in Oneida County in burglary probe

RHINELANDER (WAOW) – The Oneida County Sheriff’s Department said Thursday it may have solved “numerous burglaries” with the arrest of two men.

James MacDonald, 30, of Wausau and Anthony Lamont Brown, 40, of Schofield are jailed in some recent tavern burglaries, Capt. Tyler Young said.

“This is an ongoing investigation into numerous burglaries in several different jurisdictions,” he said in a statement.

The probe also involves investigators in Minocqua, Three Lakes, Woodruff, Vilas County, Langlade County, Antigo, Wausau, Weston, Lincoln County and Tomahawk, Young said.

No other details were released.
