SPASH Girls Golf finishes 8th at state

The SPASH Panther girls golf team finished 8th at the state meet in Madison this week.

Their two round total of 722 put them three strokes ahead of Cedarburg, the ninth place team.

SPASH was led by the Nickel sisters, Abby and Ally.  Abby finished with a two round total of 168, which put her in a tie for 22nd.

Ally finished 13 strokes behind her sister, coming in tied for 42nd with a two round total of 181.

Riley Pechinski finished with a 182, tied for 44th.  Leah Earnest finished with a two round score of 197, good for 68th place.  And Megan Bonikowske turned in a 203 over two days to finish 71st.

This was SPASH’s second ever appearance at the state meet.  They finished 9th in 2016.
