Rhinelander’s Aaron Kraemer Named Packers High School Coach of the Week

Rhinelander High School’s Football Coach Aaron Kraemer was named Green Bay Packers High School Coach of the Week.

This season is Kraemer’s first year as the varsity head coach of Rhinelander. The Hodags are unbeaten at 4-0 this season and this is the first time Rhinelander has started the season 4-0 since 1974.

Kraemer started coaching in 2012 as an assistant coach for Lakeland. He then became an assistant coach at Rhinelander, under head coach Chris Ferge, two years later. He became the head coach of the Hodags this past April.

Kraemer is honored to receiver this Coach of the Week Award and credited it to his friends and family.

“For me personally, it’s a great honor, but it wouldn’t mean anything to me if I didn’t have a great coaching staff and amazing family and support system. They have helped me through some difficult years, and provided me an opportunity to coach these guys. I love them all a ton, and it was a big leap for our school to pick somebody who was on staff the year before. For them to believe in me, it means everything.”
