Top ranked Pointers stay undefeated with win over No. 4 Augsburg

For the seventh straight week, the UW-Stevens Point men’s hockey team comes in at No. 1 in both the D3Hockey and USCHO polls.

The Pointers remain unbeaten after a 3-1 come-from-behind win over No. 4 Augsburg University.

The Auggies lit the lamp first after Chandler Madry benefited off a turnover 13 minutes into the first period. That would be the lone Augburg goal.

UW-Stevens Point scored all three of its goals in the second period. Jordan Fader got the first 1:50 into the period. Tanner Karty and B.J. Duffin were responsible for the other two.

The Pointers close out non-conference play against Saint John’s on Saturday.
