UPDATE: PFT: Packers interview Jim Caldwell, Chuck Pagano

Reports have now surfaced that the Packers have also interviewed former Colts head coach Chuck Pagano for their top coach spot.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinal first reported it.

Pagano was 53-43 in six seasons with the Colts, including a 6-3 mark in the post season.

He worked with defensive coordinator Mike Pettine in Baltimore, and hired Joe Philbin in Indianapolis.

The Packers search for a new head coach now has it’s first name, according to Pro Football Talk.

They tweeted Wednesday that Jim Caldwell, former head coach of the Lions and Colts, has interviewed for the open job in Green Bay.

Caldwell is a native of Beloit, Wis., and went 62-50 as a head coach, taking teams to the playoffs in four of his seven seasons.

Packers President Mark Murphy will be the one to make the coaching hire, getting help from GM Brian Gutekunst.
