Packers place King on I.R., claim former Badgers’ safety Jamerson

The Packers made several roster moves that resulted in former second-round pick Kevin King heading to injured reserve and former Badgers safety Natrell Jamerson joining Green Bay.

The Packers placed King and running back Tra Carson on injured reserve. King’s career has been plagued by injuries. He only played in six games this season after appearing in just nine as a rookie last season.

The Packers claimed Jamerson off waivers from Houston. Jamerson was originally a fifth-round pick of the Saints in 2018. The Texans claimed him off waivers on Sept. 2. He played in 10 games for Houston and registered five tackles.

Green Bay also claimed defensive lineman Fadol Brown off waivers from Oakland. He signed with the Raiders as an undrafted rookie out of Mississippi on May 5, 2017. He spent his rookie season on Oakland’s practice squad before appearing in eight games this season. Brown notched 17 tackles.
