Two days after a fumble by Ty Montgomery cost his team a chance to beat the undefeated Rams, Ty Montgomery has been traded, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Montgomery is going to the Ravens in exchange for a 7th round pick in 2020.
Drama had followed Montgomery back from California, after NFL.com’s Michael Silver published a report citing a number of Packers players who said Montgomery purposely disobeyed his coaches because he was mad about playing time.
Montgomery told reporters in Green Bay Monday that he’s never intentionally disobeyed anybody, and he returned the ball because he thought it was too close to the goal line.
Whatever actually happened, the Packers have now moved on from the fourth year dual threat.
