Stratford Stays Perfect

The Stratford Tigers are still perfect.

They faced Living Word Lutheran Saturday for the right to play for the Division 3 Girls Volleyball State Title.

The Tigers split the first two sets, winning the first while dropping the second. However the team showed why they have a perfect record and left no doubt about who should be in the championship game. They absolutely dominated the third and fourth sets to punch their ticket to the finals, and a perfect 44-0 record.

If the Tigers wish to advance to 45-0 and call themselves champions, they will have to earn it. Waiting for them in the Championship game is the defending champion Lake Country Lutheran.

Those two will face off Saturday at 11:30 A.M.
