(WAOW) — Who said filling out brackets was only meant for March?
Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce and Johnson Financial Group announced on Monday the Top 16 products moving forward in the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest. The products will now compete in the bracket-style tournament known as Manufacturing Madness.
Tapped Maple Syrup, LLC and Worzalla, both based out of Stevens Point, made the cut.
Tapped Maple Syrup’s infused maple syrup is a #9 seed and takes on the Klarbrunn-made Bucky’s cherry berry sparkling water in the first round.
Meanwhile, Worzalla’s children’s book series, ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid,’ is the ultimate underdog as a #16 seed. Its first-round opponent is the ‘Big Boy’ all-weather rifle, of Rice Lake’s Henry Repeating Arms.
Voting begins Tuesday and runs through 10:00 pm on Sunday, Sept. 22. To cast your ballot, visit www.madeinwis.com.
The Top 8 products will be announced via Facebook Live on Monday, Sept. 23 on WMC’s Facebook page.
