WISCONSIN RAPIDS (WAOW)– A 7-year-old boy from Augusta had his wish granted by the Kids Wish Network.

Kolban Nye was just 3 years old when he was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition. He’s a BMX fan and hopes to compete in the X-Games when he’s older.

Tuesday, his wish of riding a BMX track was granted with the help of Central WI BMX in Wisconsin Rapids. Kolban also received a BMX bike and a full faced helmet as part of his wish.

Riding at the track gave Kolban the chance to achieve one of his biggest dreams.

“When I first got my first bike I kind of wanted to go on tracks and do it but never got the chance to,” Kolban said.

He was named a honorary guest during the Olympic Day Single race.
