Hold your plans: Saturday debut of Lake Geneva Ice Castles delayed

(WISN) — The public debut of the Ice Castles in Lake Geneva won’t be Saturday, as previously expected.

The earliest debut could be Friday, Jan. 18, a spokesman told WISN 12 NEWS on Thursday morning.

Interested visitors should continue to check the venue’s website for the most updated information.

The Ice Castles display is at Riviera Beach (812 Wrigley Drive, Lake Geneva) on the shore of Geneva Bay.

The hours the display will be open have still not been announced, but tickets are for sale.

Ticket prices are:

$15.95, ages 12 and up on weekdays
$18.95, ages 12 and up on weekends
$10.95, children ages 4-11 on weekdays
$15.95, children ages 4-11 on weekends

The organizers have some advice for visitors:

— Wear boots.
— Sleds are better to for young children. Strollers would be hard to push.
— Buy tickets before you arrive.
