Marathon County Crime Stoppers: $15,000 theft

TOWNSHIP OF RIB MOUNTAIN (WAOW)– Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for help to find the burglars who stole tool boxes worth  nearly $15,000.

Investigators say it happened on Aster Road during the early morning hours of October 12.

“Surveillance cameras capture one person walking around with a stocking cap on, ” Marathon County Sheriff’s Deputy Brad Tatro said. “You can also see the white Isuzu flat nose truck with  a flatbed on it that the thieves used.”

Because of the weight of the stolen items, investigators believe at least two people are involved.

They stole two large Snap On brand roll cab tool boxes and a smaller one.

The value of the missing items is nearly $15,000.
