STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WAOW) — July 30 is National Paperback Book Day!
Worzalla Publishing in Stevens Point, which is one of the last remaining book manufacturers in the country is celebrating. Officials there expressed that paperback books are more portable, less expensive, and especially great for kids.
“Especially as you’re an early learner the ability to touch and feel a book, to connect with the images and the tactile nature of it really supports the development of reading,” Worzalla VP of Sales & Marketing Richard Letchinger said.
