(WAOW) — A Merrill man learned Friday that he will spend the next 54 months in prison.
According to a press release from the Wisconsin Department of Justice, officials stopped Ryan Kleinschmidt, 25, for a traffic violation on September 18, 2018. Officials searched Kleinschmidt’s vehicle, per the release, and found 26 grams of meth and a loaded Ruger .22 caliber pistol were found.
He was arrested for an unnamed outstanding charge, the release indicated.
Kleinschmidt pleaded guilty to charges of meth possession with intent to deliver and for gun possession as a felon in April.
