*UPDATE* — News 9 has learned that six people, including four children, have died in the fire, according to the Langlade County coroner.

According to the coroner, the ages of children who died in the fire were: 10 months, 1.5 years, 3 years, and 7 years old, respectively.

The two adults that died were in their early 30’s, the coroner added.

“You go firefighters, and EMS and everybody has tears in their eyes. How much more tragic can it be,” Langlade County Coroner Larry Shadick said.

Eight people were inside the house at the time of the fire, but two women managed to escape by jumping from the second floor, the coroner told News 9.

“On of them got injuries trying to back in after her baby,” he said of one of the women that escaped.
