MADISON (WQOW) – The Wisconsin DNR is looking for anyone who might have information about dogs and other animals being killed by poison.

According to the DNR, family pet dogs have been found dead in Bayfield, Marinette and Florence County.

In addition to the family pets, investigators found dead coyotes, weasels, raccoons and a wolf.

Investigators say the poison was found on the ground in rural areas. They say dogs died within 30 minutes after eating the poison.

The picture below is from the DNR and shows one of the poison sites.

If you have a tip you are asked to call the Wisconsin DNR Violation Hotline at 1-800-847-9367 or online here.
