KRONENWETTER, Wis. (WAOW) — Republican U.S. Senate candidate Leah Vukmir continued her tour of Wisconsin Tuesday, this time making stops with President Trump’s son Eric Trump.

Eric Trump and Leah Vukmir toured G3 Industries in Kronenwetter Tuesday afternoon. Accompanied by State Senator Pat Testin and U.S. Representative Sean Duffy, they met with several dozen supporters after the tour.

It was one of five campaign stops for Vukmir as she sets her sights on the senate seat held by Democrat Tammy Baldwin.

The visit to Wisconsin by the President’s middle son comes just one week before the mid-term elections and six days after the President held a rally in Mosinee.

Eric Trump made three stops on the trail Tuesday.

While in Kronenwetter he told voters they can’t let Democrats take control of the senate.

“I mean, it would be pandomonium,” said Eric Trump. “If they ever did what they wanted to do with taxes… you know, my father put together the largest tax cuts in the history of this nation. They want to reverse that. They said they want double taxes. If they ever double taxes this country would go into a recession. It would go into the next great recession and it can’t happen.”

After their stop in Kronenwetter, Trump and Vukmir drove down I-39 to Wisconsin Rapids. She has two more campaign stops scheduled in Kenosha and Oak Creek Wednesday.

The Democratic party released a statement Tuesday night, saying in part:

“The Trump family is campaigning for Vukmir because she would help dismantle the Affordable Care Act and cut protections for Wisconsinites with pre-existing conditions.”
