Marathon Co. Crime Stoppers: Restaurant burglaries

MARATHON CO. (WAOW) – The search is on to find a  burglar who broke into four restaurants.

Investigators say surveillance cameras show he wore dark clothing, gloves and a face mask with a skull on it.

“We don’t have a clear picture of who he his– but we are hoping someone can identify the skull face mask and identify him,” Marathon County Sheriff’s Deputy Cassandra Seubert said.

The thefts happened during the early morning hours of September 3.

“We had break-ins at Arby’s in Rothschild, El Charro and Taco John’s in Weston and at the El Mezcal in Rib Mountain,” Deputy Seubert said.

Investigators say the thief ripped off one thousand dollars in cash.
