HATLEY (WAOW) — All hands were on deck for North Star Restoration on Friday.
After Wednesday’s rainfall, they have received nonstop calls from owners finding their basements flooded.
The company responded to more than 100 calls by Friday.
“We got four crews of three people in each team out doing jobs and we have people at the office handling phone calls and logistics,” said Jay Cricks, the co-owner of the company.
Cricks said they still don’t have enough people to respond to calls, which left many residents on waiting lists.
“We are trying logistically to get everyone in a row and get to everyone in a timely manner, so it’s a lot of work,” he said.
Employees said they don’t expect to be done with calls until early next week.
The company wants to remind homeowners how important it is to have coverage.
Some of the damages they are dealing with are adding up to $20,000.
