Evers holds annual Easter egg hunt at the Executive Residence

MADISON (WKOW) — Easter came early at Wisconsin’s Executive Residence, which hosted the annual Easter egg hunt Saturday afternoon.

There were all sorts of Easter activities in addition to the hunt, including an egg roll. The Easter bunny even stopped by and busted a move.

Governor Tony Evers says it was nice to take a break from politics and treat some special guests.

“It’s great,” he said. “We’re having a good time, kids are having a good time. It’s always special for me because we have a lot of foster kids here and foster parents. Having them come out here is a real treat for me personally, but it looks like they’re having fun too.”

This is Governor Evers’ first egg hunt since taking office.
