ROTHSCHILD (WAOW)– The 15th annual Rhythm and Brews was held Friday night at the Convention and Expo Center in Rothschild. Attendees helped raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association.
There were over forty craft beer vendors along with hors d’oeuvres and live music from the Allen Brothers band.
“The continued support says a lot about the community, working here I’ve always found that it’s a warm and welcoming community. I’ve never felt like I wasn’t welcome here or the Alzheimer’s Association wasn’t welcome here. We’re family with this community, and we’re looking to continue to help those that are” said Katie Gaffney, a Development Specialist with the Alzheimer’s Association.
The funds raised from the event tonight will go towards the Walk to end Alzheimer’s on September 28 at the UW Stevens Point at Wausau field house.
