WAUSAU, Wis. (WAOW) April showers bring May flowers, right? Well that wasn’t the case Thursday as over 10 inches of snow dumped all over our region.

Many people spent the all day Thursday outside clearing snow off sidewalks and driveways. With roads covered in snow and schools closed. It was not a Spring day many people were excited about.

Yes shovels, snowblowers, snow boots and gloves are all necessary for a snow day but a few extra hands to get the job done quicker can make the day a bit better for some.

“So we have been out here about 30 minutes and it’s going by pretty quick because there’s three of us and we work well together,” said Deborah Smith who was shoveling snow outside of her house.¬†After a long day Deborah said they were headed back inside to play games along with some hot chocolate and coffee to warm up.
