MERRILL (WAOW) — Voters who normally cast their ballots at the T.B. Scott Library in Merrill will be using a different polling location due to water damage.
“We had a lot of things planned in our community room so then we started to notify people who use and book our community room and the first thing we thought of was the election coming up in April,’ said Stacy Stevens the director of the library.
The library will be undergoing repairs and will be unavailable as a polling location during the April 2 election, according to a Facebook post.
“There won’t be any voting here in April or anything else for the foreseeable future,” said Stevens.
Instead, those voters will head to City Hall Common Council Chambers on East First Street.
