Wausau (WAOW)- The Woodson History Center celebrated Valentine’s Day in a special way. For the twentieth year, the center hosted an Valentine tea.
This year’s theme, to go along with the anniversary, was “The Roaring Twenties”. The event featured sweets and tea, along with a fashion show of dresses and coats worn in that time period.
“It’s fun to hear the stories, that’s actually my favorite part because people talk about oh my gosh my great aunt had this dress I still have it” said Sara Goetsch Curator of Events at the Woodson History Center.
The clothes in the fashion show were all donated and they’re stored in archive boxes in a humidity controlled room.
