Portage Co. Crime Stoppers: Home burglary

TOWN OF STOCKTON (WAOW) — The search is on for a thief who broke into a home on Oak Moraine Court in the Town of Stockton.

“The daytime burglary happened  Oct. 14; they forced their way in through the garage door, took just jewelry,” Portage County Sheriff Mike Lukas said.

The thief stole a wedding band, Carquest President’s Club ring with a sapphire and diamond stones and an engraved pearl necklace.

Cost estimates for the missing jewelry and damaged service door total $2500.

Investigators hope someone in the area may have seen unusual activity.
