(WAOW) — News 9’s Mimi Mitrovic said goodbye to viewers Friday morning.

Mimi joined the team as an intern in May 2016. She was hired as a morning reporter in August 2017.
During her time at News 9, Mimi did an excellent job of leading local coverage for Wake Up Wisconsin.
“Mimi brought a great deal of local knowledge to her morning reports,” said WAOW-TV News Director Kevin Carpenter. “She has an incredible work ethic, a very positive attitude, and a great sense of humor that we will all certainly miss.
Please join News 9 in wishing Mimi good luck, as she moves to the Madison area to be closer to family.
