SCHOFIELD, Wis. (WAOW)– Governor Scott Walker made a stop in Schofield on his Wisconsin is working tour. While at CTECH manufacturing, the Wisconsin branch of the National Federation of Independent Businesses announced their endorsement of the governor for re-election.

Walker talked to supporters and workers at the manufacturing company about the economy and the need to build up small businesses. He also addressed healthcare, and of course tomorrow’s presidential visit.

“I like the idea of him being here,” the governor said. “Reminding those folks we’ve championed things for them here. And it’s a good reminder from the president about how important it is to get out to vote for us in this election. It’s critically important.”

Governor Walker will be at President Trump’s Central Wisconsin Airport rally Wednesday to support Republican senate candidate Leah Vukmir.
