Fans celebrate Brewers’ 3-1 win at Weston bar

WESTON, Wis (WAOW) — Fans celebrated a big Milwaukee Brewers win on Monday.

As the Brewers took on the Chicago Cubs in the 163rd game of the regular season for the National League’s Central Division championship, fans gathered at Wiggly Field Bar in Weston to watch on TV and cheer the team.

The energy was high throughout the game, and as the the Brewers clinched the top spot with a 3-1 win in Chicago, the crowd erupted in cheers.

“It’s absolutely exciting. They’ve just been playing amazing baseball this last month and it’s huge for Wisconsin,” one fan said after the game.

The Brewers won’t know their first playoff opponent until after Tuesday’s wildcard game.
