Marathon County Crime Stoppers: Auto body paint spray guns stolen

WESTON (WAOW) – Marathon County Crime Stoppers is looking for help to find the thief who broke into a business in Weston and stole 11 spray guns worth $1,000 each.

It happened July 18 after M & R Auto Body and Supply on Everest Avenue had closed.

The Special Edition spray guns are used for auto repair and painting, Marathon County Sheriff’s Deputy Dale Ruechel said. "They are valued at about $1,000 apiece so the losses of the spray guns and cash taken from an office totals more than $11,000."

Investigators say the thief removed each of spray guns from a box and the box was returned to a shelf.
