Marathon County Crime Stoppers: Elderon break-ins and thefts

ELDERON (WAOW) – Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find thieves who broke into garages and storage units in Elderon, beginning in late July, stealing everything from tools to rock band t-shirts.

"Most recently someone cut locks and broke into storage units in August," Deputy Dale Ruechel said. "They have also gone into garages and other buildings and ripped off a DeWalt cordless tool set, leaf blower, two batteries and a battery charger and a Martin brand compound bow."

He says the most unusual theft happened at a building on State Road 153, sometime between July 20 and Aug.10.

"Someone took about 90 concert t-shirts that they had collected over the years," Ruechel said. The owner purchased them at rock concerts.
