Weston Village Administrator heading back to work

Weston Village Administrator Dan Guild will head back to work July 12.

Guild was put on a 30-work day unpaid suspension late May. Village leaders have stayed tight lipped on what exactly led to his suspension. Special legal counsel hired by the board previously told News 9 the board had issues with Guilds performance, but didn’t go into specific details.

The village board, along with special legal counsel met behind closed doors with Guild Wednesday evening. They gave him his employment expectations in writing.

Legal counsel said Guild would be returned to work Thursday.
