Sheriff: Thieves break-in to Marathon Co. store through hole in wall

Thieves made off with thousands of dollars in electronics after breaking into a store in Marathon County, according to the sheriff’s office.

According to an alert sent out Tuesday, the heist happened early in the morning at Best Buy in Rib Mountain, triggering the store’s burglar alarm. 

When deputies arrived, they found a hole in the concrete wall in the back of the building. Officials said the suspects were able to get into the stock room and snatch about $15,000 worth of electronics.
