Local communities paying tribute to the anniversary of 9/11 terrorist attacks

CENTRAL WISCONSIN (WAOW) — Communities throughout the nation, including central Wisconsin will be honoring and paying tribute to the nearly 3,000 lives lost 18 years ago, on Sept. 11 2001.

Marshfield: 

Special 9/11 blood donation @ Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin [6- 12:15 p.m.]

Buck-a-neer Supper Club donating 11% of sales to Marshfield Police and Fire Departments

Schofield: 

Never Forgotten Honor Flight Fundraiser @ Schofield City Hall [10- 2 p.m.]

Taylor County: 

Taylor County Sheriff’s Office will run five miles [Stetsonville to Medford] carrying an American flag @ 11 a.m.

Tomahawk: 

Gathering at Generations Funeral Home @ 10:30 a.m.
