Six arrested after armed burglary and vehicle chase in Adams Co.

QUINCY, Wis. (WAOW)— Six people are in custody after an armed burglary and vehicle chase in Adams County.

The Adams County Sheriff's Office says shortly after 2:30 on Saturday deputies responded to 18th Ave. in the Town of Quincy for a reported burglary in progress.

Deputies in the area attempted to stop a white Ford SUV, but the driver fled. The chase continued in to the camping grounds of Castle Rock County Park.

Police say four suspects were arrested when the the vehicle became disabled; the driver was found walking away and a second person was pointed out by campers.

The ensuing investigation found that a firearm and ammunition were taken during the burglary but were then tossed from the vehicle during the chase.

The investigation alleges that the victim knew one of the suspects.

The sheriff's office is requesting charges from the district attorney's office for the following people:

Jamieson Patterson, 27, of Lake Delton:

  • Burglary While Armed
  • Operating While Intoxicated(1st offense)
  • Fleeing/Eluding an Officer
  • Recklessly Endangering Safety
  • Criminal Damage to Property
  • Bail Jumping (3 counts)
  • Resisting/Obstructing an Officer

Byron Thundercloud, 24, of Barboo:

  • Burglary While Armed
  • Criminal Damage to Property
  • Bail Jumping

Ariana Cloud, 30, of Lake Delton:

  • Burglary While Armed/Party to a Crime
  • Criminal Damage to Property/Party to a Crime
  • Resisting/Obstructing an Officer

Benjamin Hopinkah, 27, of Wisconsin Rapids:

  • Burglary While Armed
  • Criminal Damage to Property

Erika Houghton and Evelyn Funmaker both of Wisconsin Dells are facing charges of Burglary While Armed/Party to a Crime and Criminal Damage to Property/Party to a Crime.
