FOREST CO., Wis. (WAOW) — Two homes, one in Forest County, another in Oconto County, were broken into on the same day, June 4, with similarities.
Police responded to the first home, located in Wabeno, with K9's that were able to locate pieces of evidence. Officers were able to also obtain shoe prints and tire track impressions.
The investigators say three men forced their way into the home while armed with knives and guns. Allegedly, a firearm was pointed at a 12 year old child inside the residence ordering him on the floor and the family dog was stabbed.
Police say the suspects stole cash, jewelry and prescription pills.
The other home, in Oconto County, the suspects also allegedly forced entry and pointed a gun at a child. At this residence police say guns were stolen. Upon fleeing this scene, police say the suspects damaged their taillight when hitting a gate.
One of the suspects, Kevin Reed, 20, was arrested on June 9 after a traffic stop in Oconto County.
The other two suspects, Keilon Reed, 16, and Galen Daniels, 17, were arrested on June 10 in two different locations.
Keilon and Galen are both minors, but are expected to be charged as adults.
