ESPN reports Aaron Rodgers doesn’t want to return to Packers

(WAOW) -- ESPN Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter is reporting that Aaron Rodgers, star Green Bay Packers Quarterback, doesn't want to return to the team.

League and team sources reportedly told ESPN about Rodgers being disgruntled with the Packers.

This comes just hours before the 2021 NFL Draft.

Several reports have come out that the San Francisco 49ers are interested in a trade for Rodgers, however, the Packers reportedly are not interested.

There are also reportedly other teams interested in Rodgers, according to ESPN.

ESPN says sources tell them the Packers have offered to extend Rodgers' contract.

Packers GM Brian Gutekunst released a statement to ESPN saying, "As we've stated since the season ended, we are committed to Aaron in 2021 and beyond, Aaron has been a vital part of our success and we look forward to competing for another championship with him leading our team."

This is a developing story.
