STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WAOW) -- The SPASH girls volleyball team has been in a league of their own this season. They haven't faced their usual central Wisconsin opponents, due to the spring season, they've face talent from the valley.

On Saturday they'll welcome Superior to Point for the regional round of the alternate season.

Head coach Molly Williams having the home court is quite beneficial. Despite the mental perk, the Panthers believe it's their work ethic will be what lands them on top.

Williams said, "Were at this point in our season where you win or you go home. You're done. And we don't want to be the team that's done. That's the kind of mentality we've had this week, and raise the intensity in our gym and there's certain things that we come out each day and work on but we have such a short amount of time that I was just a kind of turn around and go. So we just want to keep taking each game and each moment one at a time."
