Toddler dies in Waupaca Co. farming accident

Waupaca Co. (WAOW) -- A two-year-old Waupaca Co. boy died in a farming accident, according to the sheriff's department.

Authorities say they got the call around 6:30 Monday night from the Township of St. Lawrence. They say the child was riding in a skid steer, fell forward and was briefly pinned between the bucket and support arm.

The toddler was taken to the hospital where he later died.
