The Green Bay Packers announced Friday they're releasing linebacker Christian Kirksey and offensive tackle Rick Wagner.
Kirksey started 11 regular season games in his one season with the team. He also appeared in both postseason games this year. He finished second on the team with 78 tackles.

According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, the move clears about $10.25 million in cap space.
The NFL reported this week the minimum salary cap this season would be $180 million, a number that according to a reports, the Packers would be more than $20 million over.
