UPDATE (WAOW) : The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department told News 9 over the phone that Justine Marie Giessel has been found safe.

(WAOW) -- Police in Wisconin Rapids and Menominee are searching for two different missing girls.

Wisconsin Rapids Police say they are searching for a 16-year-old who is suicidal.

Justine Marie Giessel was last seen at a friends house watching movies on Wednesday. She left around 6:15 pm to return to her grandfather's house next door on 17th Avene South, and hasn't been seen since.

Her grandfather says he found a suicide note that she left at his home on her computer.

Giessel reportedly does have a cellphone, but police say it's been turned off and they are unable to ping it.

She is described as a white female, 5-foot-10, 140 pounds, with long brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, grey t-shirt, jeans and black shoes.

The Menominee Tribal Police Department are searching for a Menominee Indian Reservation woman who has been missing since June 16.

Katelyn L. Kelly was last seen on June 16 around 10:30 pm on the Menominee Indian Reservation, in the area of County Highway VV and Silver Canoe Road. She was reported walking eastbound on County Highway VV towards the Village of Keshena.

Kelly is 22 and described as a Native American, 5-foot-2, 140 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, black swimsuit type top, blue jean shorts and black flip flops.

The Menominee Tribal Police have been investigating her case since she was reported missing on June 18. They've followed up with numerous tips on her possible whereabouts but have not been able to locate her.
