Around 10 people worked on finishing a machine built trail which included removing roots, rocks, and leveling dirt.
Between this summer and last the group has worked on eight miles of track in the park, and the trails are ones that people just starting out in the sport can use.
"Mountain biking is becoming a family friendly sport, mountain biking is not just for adventure enthusiasts anymore. It's for people that are looking to come out and have a good time and Standing Rocks can be a little bit of something for everyone," said Jon Gadbois with the association.
The group will be working on the trails through the rest of this month and August in hopes of having the trails ready for use by the end of the summer.
