After a grey and dreary end to the week, the forecast for this weekend is shaping up to be great!
Rain showers will slowly diminish early tonight. Lows will remain in the lower 60s with a west wind about 5-10 mph. Early Saturday morning enough moisture will hang around to create some patchy fog in low-lying areas.
What a beautiful weekend ahead- warm temperatures and sunny skies! Now THIS is what I had in mind for June. Expect highs to hover around the mid-80s this weekend with plenty of sun. Make sure to grab the sunscreen this weekend, the UV index will be high. A light breeze will stick around this weekend, helping keep things comfortable. Get out and enjoy.
A more summer-like week is on the way with temperatures returning to the 80s and building humidity in the forecast. There will be a few chances for some scattered, pop-up showers and storms this workweek.
Have a great weekend! -Meteorologist Liz Szewczyk, June 26, 2020 at 3:30 PM
